Right On! Ceylon!
A black tea from Ceylon. Flavored with rhubarb, strawberry and vanilla. The Ceylon tea gives this blend a typical citrusy character along with a sweet full-bodied taste from the fruits. This is one of the most poplular of our flavored black teas.
If the Queen was into Ceylon teas this would be her favorite for breakfast. It is excellent both as is or with milk. But if you want to be as luxurious as the Queen try it with cream instead, for a real Royal Right On experience! (But don't forget to ask your butler to put the cream in your cup first, then the hot tea so the cream doesn't get scalded!)
Steeping guidelines: Use only fresh cold water. Use 1 tsp tea/cup + 1 for the pot. If using a clam-shell infuser barely fill one of the halves. Bring water to 160F. Steep time 2-3 minutes. Is is a good idea to use a "reverse steep" with green tea to get the most out of its delicate flavor. Reverse steep means to add the tea to the water rather than pour the water over the tea. This way the tea leaves warm up more slowly which protects its delicate flavor. If tea is too strong or too weak adjust the steeping time, not the amount.
