A crush, tear and curl processed tea, typical for the Assam area in India. Has an intense black tea flavor, very astringent and malty.
It is truly a fantastic tea, full bodied, with a distinct malty character, which is typical for teas from Assam. Tastes great with or without milk.
Steeping guidelines:
Use only fresh cold water. 1 tsp tea/cup + 1 for the pot. If using a clam-shell infuser barely fill one of the halves. Use boiling water. Steep time 3 - 4 minutes. If tea is too strong or too weak adjust the steeping time, not the amount tea.
