Jasmine Tea for You and Me.
Jasmine Tea A Chinese classic. Green Tea is blended with freshly picked jasmine flowers which give it an aromatic, fresh and sweet jasmine flavor.
Serve this hot for your Sunday High Tea and the ladies will be amazed and impressed. Or serve it iced with a sprig of mint at your garden party and everyone will be asking how you made such a delicate and sophisticated drink.
And you can just smile and say "its a secret".
Steeping guidelines: Use only fresh cold water. Use 1 tsp tea/cup + 1 for the pot. If using a clam-shell infuser barely fill one of the halves. Bring water to 160F. Steep time 2-3 minutes. Is is a good idea to use a "reverse steep" with green tea to get the most out of its delicate flavor. Reverse steep means to add the tea to the water rather than pour the water over the tea. This way the tea leaves warm up more slowly which protects its delicate flavor. If tea is too strong or too weak adjust the steeping time, not the amount.
