Our Store

  • Black tea is made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. The leaves are dried and fermented, which gives the tea a darker color and richer flavor than green tea (which does not undergo the fermentation process).  Pure black tea without additional flavoring is sometimes called  "original tea".  Our flavored teas are original teas that have all natural fruit, floral or spices added.

  • Although there is caffeine in green tea, it contains less caffeine than black tea, which has 60 - 90 mg caffeine, which is a lot less caffeine than coffee. So if you're looking to reduce your caffeine intake (but not eliminate it completely) green tea is a good choice.  The average cup of coffee has about 100 - 250 mg of caffeine.

  • All our red teas (Rooibos) are naturally CAFFEINE FREE. They are NOT a caffeinated tea that has gone through a decaffeination process. When a caffeinated tea goes through a decaffeination process that does remove some caffeine from the tea, but not 100% of it.
